Welcome to Lock Into Life After Graduating from Sheffield University in 1997, I started a career in Human Resources and have worked extensively for companies within the Public, Charity and Private sectors. I set up my Company, ‘Lock into Life’, to assist my clients in achieving the personal and professional lifestyle they truly desire. Why? Please, allow me to explain… After experiencing major life changing events personally and professionally, I set out on a journey in January 2008 to radically change and improve my own lifestyle to create a more positive outlook in keeping with my personal wants, needs and ambitions. Having suffered from depression for a number of years within only a few short months my mood had shifted to a more positive outlook and I began to see the fruits of my hard work. Early on in this journey I soon realised that I wanted and enjoyed helping others who were going through similar journeys of their own who just needed a gentle nudge or inspiration to change their lives in times of adversity. One of the major lessons learnt was that in order to change you must assess where your attention goes as your energy will follow. Therefore it is vital not to only act confidently but to think confidently too. I have since added personal styling to my core skills after realising the impact of my own confidence when my body shape changes in size. I realised over the years that in the past when I was a size 14/16 I had the confidence to feel good about myself and the way I dressed. As I put on weight I found it a real challenge to find clothes that suited me and this often made me feel really depressed which continued the cycle of eating more. Since learning some of the tricks to my body shape I can now feel confident in my body even when I am carrying a few extra pounds. I have varied from a size 14 to a size 22 and am currently trying to lose a few postnatal pounds!!” Tony Lock, Area Recruitment Manager for a large national recruitment agency, (and my loving supportive husband) works within the company to provide additional Recruitment support such as CV writing, interview techniques, bespoke recruitment selection packages and recruitment training.
